The Fabrics’ Narrative
And my friends, you are not alone to keep lovely Fabric pieces in neatly maintained trunks with fragrant mothballs for months and months waiting for a dream project to ensue. Only this happens to me rather for years and years than a few months. Entangled in the prints and embroideries of these fabrics lay the visuals of elaborate designs that don’t happen to take shape any soon in a busy schedule.
Guess What, A ‘Believe it or not’ segment in this blog comes with a disclosure: This Hand Painted Fabric was bought by me about 6 yrs (yes Years) ago in the Surajkund Fair. I have been materially thankful to this fair for being one of the most splendid sources of handmade artistry in Delhi- fashion, home furnishings and décor (Never missed once in past 10 years). Finally the design took shape as this kurta after a long long wait.
Taking the liberty to share this Ethnic Look with you in today’s log, I wish you to share your fabric stories in the comment section below as well.
